FabienneSchuler

I build the market for enterprise AI, then go and win it.

Fifteen years building what wasn't there yet: a brand, a category, a marketing function, a global partner ecosystem, and for one critical stretch the company itself.

Build from zero

Brand, category and go-to-market for InsightLoop. Then Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Tomra as its first enterprise customers.

Own the revenue

Global partner ecosystem built and owned across EMEA & APJ, half of it recurring.

One company, five roles, through a carve-out to SAP and a change of leadership.

Positioning

Builder and closer

My instinct is to build the thing that doesn't exist yet: the brand, the category, the function, the team. And then to go out and win the business with it. Those two jobs usually sit with two different people; I have spent fifteen years doing both.

I come from marketing. As CMO I built the function from the ground up, hired the specialists, and ran the brand development and launch of InsightLoop as a strategic enterprise AI product. The narrative, the positioning, the material that made executives believe. As Chief Growth Officer I own its commercialization end to end, and I carry the enterprise deals myself, from the first executive conversation through to signature. In between I co-led the company through a leadership transition and ran Engineering, because that is what the moment required. I work best where there is no playbook yet: a new category, an unproven product, a function that needs inventing. That is as true inside an established company as it is in a startup. InsightLoop was built inside a business that was already seventeen years old.

2005–Present

Five roles, one continuous arc

2024–Present Coresystems AG

Chief Growth Officer

Member of the Executive Committee. I own the commercialization of InsightLoop end to end: AI go-to-market, from business case through adoption to realised value.

  • Opened a greenfield market from zero, carrying an unproven AI product to its first enterprise customers, global industrial leaders including Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Tomra.
  • Rebuilt qualification, value propositions and the stakeholder model, cutting the enterprise cycle from 12+ months to 4–6.
  • Trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, co-defining strategic roadmaps that translate AI capability into measurable business outcomes and concrete ROI.
  • Lead transformation engagements across complex 9–12 month enterprise cycles, aligning product and engineering to customer strategic objectives.
  • Positioned the company as a strategic partner rather than a vendor across multinational accounts.
2022–2024 Coresystems AG

Chief Marketing Officer

Member of the Executive Committee. Built the marketing function from scratch and brought InsightLoop to market as a brand.

  • Built and led the marketing function from the ground up, hiring specialists across PR, social media and online marketing where no function had existed.
  • Orchestrated the complete brand development and go-to-market launch of InsightLoop as a strategic enterprise AI solution, with cohesive messaging across every channel.
  • Defined the value propositions and customer narratives connecting AI capability to measurable process impact, the material that carried executive buy-in inside customer accounts.
  • Drove ISO certification for InsightLoop, and initiated the Best Swiss Software Awards entry that took first place in Data & AI Solutions.
2017–2022 Coresystems AG

Head of Channel Sales

Management Board. Built and owned the global partner ecosystem across EMEA & APJ, then co-led the company through a critical transformation phase.

  • Grew and managed a €3M license revenue portfolio, 50% of it in ARR, through retention and expansion of long-term partnerships.
  • Built and scaled the global channel organization of system integrators and technology partners, with joint GTM programs and enablement frameworks focused on customer value delivery.
  • Established partner management strategies that measurably improved collaboration, growth and mutual success metrics.
Interim Co-CEO · 2021–Feb 2022
  • Co-led the company alongside the management team until the incoming CEO was appointed, reporting directly to the Board throughout the transition.
  • Directed the Engineering department to December 2021, holding technical leadership and team performance steady through the handover.
2011–2017 Coresystems AG

Channel Sales Manager, EMEA & APJ

Global SAP partner network across two regions.

  • Supported solution adoption, partner enablement and long-term ecosystem success across a global network of SAP partners.
  • Ran regional transformation programmes across executive events, roadshows and field initiatives to drive platform adoption.
  • Worked alongside technical and delivery teams to secure successful implementations and durable adoption outcomes.
2005–2011 Antalis AG

Inside Sales Manager

B2B account management in the business communication sector.

  • Managed B2B customer accounts, building the long-term relationships and retention discipline that shaped everything since.

Character

How I actually work

Steps up
When the company was between CEOs, I co-led it and took over the Engineering department at the same time, reporting directly to the Board until the new CEO arrived. Nobody appointed me to be indispensable.
Beyond the mandate
The Best Swiss Software Awards entry that won first place was not in my job description. Neither was InsightLoop's ISO certification, nor designing the floor plan for the company's new Zurich office. I notice what is missing and pick it up.
Team spirit
My CEO credits me with aligning cross-functional teams and keeping communication open between departments and the executive floor. Outside work, twice on the organising committee for Badenfahrt, one of Switzerland's largest volunteer-run festivals.
Structured
The entrepreneurial instinct comes with discipline. My CEO describes a structured, methodical approach to running an organisation that set the standard inside the company. Useful in a founder-led environment, where energy is rarely the scarce resource.

On the record

From the people I reported to

“Her strategic thinking and keen business acumen have been instrumental in driving growth, operational efficiency, and the successful execution of key initiatives.”
“She has excelled in crisis management and interim leadership, ensuring stability during transitional periods and effectively guiding the organization through challenges.”
“Her ability to drive initiatives outside of her responsibilities, foster industry recognition, and position the company as a leader in innovation further highlights her strategic vision.”

Open to executive conversations

CMO, Chief Growth Officer, General Manager, or a new business unit that needs building. Early-stage is interesting. So is a startup that has already found product-market fit and now has to build the brand, the market and the team around it. Enterprise AI, SaaS and technology; Switzerland, DACH or international. If something has to be created rather than merely run, that is the conversation I want.
